• Gave away perfectly good, gasoline-powered garden equipment

• Staged an intervention
• Rotated my own tires
• Wore a $26,000 Breitling for an hour
• Had suits taken in
• Soaked in a hot spring
• Had my hair channeled
• Perfected parking lot donuts in a rented Mustang at Hoover Dam
• Returned a rented Mustang with a wrecked, rear tire
• Was Fastest Bleeder Of The Day at the blood bank
• Bought a copy of The Chicago Manual of Style
• Bailed on satellite and cable—became TV streamers
• Learned some stuff about electricity
• Built a nifty, portable power station from a truck battery and inverter
• Visited Salton Sea
• Spent a day at Slab City, California
• Bought a gigantic smartphone
• Turned 200,000 miles on a vehicle
• Fixed a broken dryer with a soldering iron
